How to read these records

The record

County of Santa Clara Department of Environmental Health inspects restaurants, groceries, schools and other food establishments and publishes every inspection. This site gathers them into one record per establishment: the latest inspection, its result as the authority wrote it, and how many inspections the file holds. Scores are out of 100.

Inspected food establishment. An inspection describes one visit on one day; it is not a rating of the business today. The text of violations and the inspector's name are not shown.

What is not here

Individuals, and any name without a company word (Inc, LLC, Corp, Co…). Owner and contact names, phone numbers and mailing addresses, which this site never downloads.
